Is it safe to get medical treatments overseas?

Yes, when it’s done properly. QLM only works with internationally accredited hospitals and clinics that meet or exceed Western standards. We personally vet every provider to ensure world-class care.

Will I understand my doctors and nurses?

Yes. We try to ensure that all our partner facilities have medical staff on hand that speak your language. If they don’t, we will provide professional interpreters to ensure clear communication at every stage.

How do I know the treatment will be the same quality as at home?

…It might be better! We only work with the best of the best and in many cases, our patients report better outcomes, cleaner facilities, and more attentive care than they receive at home.

What if something goes wrong while I’m overseas?

Your safety is our top priority. We have emergency protocols in place, a licensed medical professional travels with you, and we’re in constant communication with local hospitals and your home doctor if needed.

Do I need to get approval from my doctor before I travel?

You absolutely should, and we’ll help with that. We can coordinate directly with your doctor to ensure your trip is safe and appropriate. Pre-travel medical assessments are part of our process.

What does “fully managed” mean?

It means you don’t have to lift a finger. We take care of flights, accommodation, clinic bookings, transport, meals, interpreters, and even sightseeing. You focus on enjoying the experience, we handle the details.

Can I bring a friend or family member with me?

Yes, and we encourage it! We’ve built our trips with companions in mind to ensure everyone has a great time.

What if I have special dietary needs?

No problem! We manage all dietary requirements as part of your itinerary. From meal planning to restaurant bookings, your needs are always factored in.

Is everything included in the package?

Most of the time. Unless you’ve booked one of our bespoke trips and opted out, our packages include medical treatment, travel, accommodation, meals, and experiences. There are no hidden fees or out-of-pocket surprises on your trip.

Is this covered by insurance?

It depends on your policy. We’ll help you understand your options and, if applicable, work with your insurer to maximise coverage.

How far in advance should I book?

We recommend starting the process at least 6–8 weeks in advance, especially for dialysis or surgery-related trips. If your needs are urgent, talk to us. We’ll do everything we can.
